About Renata Thomas

 

Renata Thomas is a High School Biology teacher who joined ISOK in 2021 to begin her third year in education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, where she also minored in Education and Psychology. Additionally, she holds Biology teaching certifications from both the Oklahoma State and Virginia Departments of Education. She is passionate about connecting Biology to the personal lives of her students and cultivating their interests in the world around them. She personally loves to explore new places and cultures and has traveled to countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central America.
