About Krystal Medina
Krystal Medina is a middle school science teacher. She started with ISOK in 2020, but had been a teacher for 5 years prior to that. She has a bachelor's in Secondary Science Education with an emphasis on Earth and Space Science. She graduated in 2015 from Northeastern State University, and is finishing a master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Krystal's 5 years of teaching were all at Tulsa Public Schools at Clinton and Webster Middle School and then Memorial High School. She is a mother of one, and married to her 7th grade boyfriend who is still her best friend and allows her to do all the things she wants in the world. She has earned a nickname of "The Pterodactyl" because she has extremely high-pitched, random hiccups which can be extremely jarring. When she attends professional developments, people know she is in attendance when she hiccups because they are extremely loud!
